Project Description
DreamWorks, voted “Top 100 Companies to Work for” by Fortune magazine, relocated their company headquarters for more than 500 employees. They moved from their existing office at 1800 Seaport Blvd. to a vacant office complex at 1400 Seaport Blvd.
The project consisted of tenant improvements to a 167,000 square foot, 5-story facility. It included demolition of existing partial rated and non-rated walls, doors, millwork, electrical, lighting, suspended ceiling and finishes on all floors. The updated space included a large, 101-seat custom screening theater.
Services Provided
MatriScope was contracted to provide special inspection and materials testing services related to earthwork, cast-in-place concrete including footings, elevated decks, slab in-fills, anchor testing, structural steel fabrication and erection, and spray-applied fireproofing.
