Project Description
Western Digital is a global technology supplier of hard drives, portable storage, medical, military, and telecommunication systems. Their CleanPak warehouse is located in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area and was in need of seismic upgrades. This project consisted of the construction of roof transfer channels, gravity strengthening, and other tasks required to strengthen the existing building.

MatriScope provided materials testing and special inspections related to reinforcing steel, concrete epoxy anchor/bolt placement inspection, structural steel shop and field welding, and specialty testing of fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) material.
