Project Description
The Sutter Medical Center Hospital Replacement project was designed to LEED Silver certification and consisted of a new 182,329 square foot, 2 story steel frame structure which will included a Newborn Intensive Care Unit, C-section Rooms, and Recovery, while the second floor bed tower will house Medical/Surgical Unit and Administrative Services. The first floor D&T will include Treatment Exam Emergency Department, Exam Observation Unit (Universal Care Unit), an Imaging Department, which includes Digital Radiography Fluoroscopy Rooms, a CT Scan, a Nuclear Medicine Suite, an MRI Suite, General Orthopedic and Cardiac Operating Rooms, Special procedure Rooms (Cath Labs), PACU, Central Sterile Processing. A Central Utility Plant, Water Treatment facility were also part of the contract.

Services Provided
Signet provided special inspection and material testing services including reinforced concrete, reinforced steel, welding inspection and non-destructive testing, floor flatness (F-Number Measurement), water proofing, fire proofing and dowel/anchor installation.
