Project Description
The Kimpton Sawyer Hotel is located at the Downtown Commons (DoCo) in Sacramento, CA. DoCo is the new mixed-use retail/entertainment area being developed as a complement to Sacramento’s new Golden 1 Center arena, home of the Sacramento Kings basketball team. Serving as the focal point of the development is a 16-story tower that will house the 250-room luxury hotel, which is slated to open in 2017. The tower will also accommodate 45,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, some office space and approximately 50 top-floor luxury condos.
The project includes the construction of the tower, which includes a mechanical penthouse, two levels of underground parking, sitework, and renovation.
