Project Description
The United Auburn Indian Community expanded Thunder Valley Casino into a world class casino and resort. They started with 240,000 square feet of existing casino spaces. The expansion added a AAA Four Diamond 15-story luxury hotel, performing arts center, recreation facilities, and seven-story parking garage.
The facility also includes a wastewater treatment plant, central plant and fire station. In 2015, MatriScope also completed an additional renovation to the former Falls Bar (renamed Illusions Ultra Lounge).
Services Provided
MatriScope was contracted to provide materials testing and field inspections for concrete, post-tensioned concrete, structural steel, steel welds, high strength bolts, and fireproofing.
