Project Description
201 Marshall is a seven story, mixed-use, residential building over three-levels of garage structure. The garage structure has one level below ground, and its upper two levels are wrapped at the street level with live/work units, retail leasing office, fitness center, lounge area, and lobby spaces. These spaces have direct access from the street.
The 116 residential apartments include studio, one- and two-bedroom units. The design includes open and loft-style floor plans. Approximately 5,000 square feet of resident amenity space is provided including courtyard, rooftop patio, club room, fitness center, and lounge. The building also features a bike repair workshop and bike lockers and a telecommuting center.
201 Marshall was the first project approved under the Redwood City Downtown Precise Plan. The Plan aims “to restore downtown as the indispensable hub of the City, with a mix of diverse services, conveniences, experiences and lifestyle choices.” The project is conveniently located near Zipcars and Caltrain, and is within walking distance of a variety of shopping, nightlife and employment options.
